CRAWFORDVILLE, FL (WTXL) - Authorities are investigating the death of a woman in Crawfordville after getting a tip from deputies in another county.
According to the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office, Santa Rosa County deputies contacted them, saying someone may be hurt or may have been killed in a home on Cajer Posey Road on Sunday.
When Wakulla deputies arrived, the body of a female was found inside the home. Authorities say there were indications of a struggle and the death has been ruled a homicide.
The victim has not been identified but Wakulla deputies say a suspect is already in custody for other charges not related to this investigation.
According to the Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, deputies there are holding Charles Clayton Brow in custody as a suspect in the homicide.
