WAKULLA Co., Fla. (WTXL) - The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office is planning to address a Whistleblower Complaint made against the department back in February 2015.
The group who filed the complaint alleged the Sheriff's Office allowed a registered sex offender to work at a Wakulla High graduation function.
They also claimed Deputy Richard Moon was a "threat to public safety," and finally, that the Sheriff's Office provided illegal use of inmate labor to build a barbecue grill and smoker for a fundraiser.
In March 2015, an investigation was initiated by the FBI and Florida Department of Law Enforcement into the complaint.
The Sheriff's office says the investigation wrapped up in Dec. 2015.
On Jan. 11, the Sheriff's Office says they will discuss the results.
