WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Wakulla County Schools will hold a security check drill and members of the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office on Monday.
The superintendent, in a message to parents Thursday night, said in light of the recent shooting in parkland he wanted to make sure parents are aware that the drill will take place to eliminate any concerns or confusion on social media.
He adds that the school district continues to be vigilant about threats against student safety and is working closely with the Wakulla County Sheriff's Office to investigate threats.
