WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - While the Wakulla County Sheriff's deputy who was injured in a car crash last week is still in the hospital, deputies say that he is in good spirits and is expected to make a full recovery.
WCSO provided a brief update on Lt. Jeremy Johnston's condition on Facebook.
They said that Lt. Johnston is still in recovery at the hospital after having reconstructive surgery on his arm. They said that he and his family were thankful for all the wishes and prayers they have received overt the past week.
Deputies say that Lt. Johnston is expected to make a full recovery and they hope he will be discharged from the hospital sometime this week.
Lt. Johnson was injured after a driver failed to yield the right of way and crashed into them.
