Wakulla County Deputies on the Look-Out for Drunk Drivers

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL)--Wakulla County deputies are alerting you to a DUI checkpoint. 

The two-hour checkpoint is Friday, May 29, starting at 10 p.m. It'll last for two hours in the area of the 7197 and 7223 block of Coastal Highway (U.S. Highway 98) just south of the intersection of Highway 363 near St. Marks Powder.

Deputies will be looking for impaired drivers and drivers who violate driver license and registration laws.

They'll also be checking to make sure people are wearing their seat belts. 

The checkpoints are funded by a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation.
