CRAWFORDVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) - The Wakulla County Sheriff's Office says that a man is in unknown condition after a domestic dispute led to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
They said that the incident took place in the Audubon Forest neighborhood near Ducan Drive and Arran Road in Crawfordville.
The area has been deemed safe by Uniformed Deputies on scene, however they have asked that residents please try to find alternate routes around the scene if traveling through the area.
WCSO said that there had been a fight between an unidentified man and woman, which caused the woman to leave the home. After she left, the man blockaded himself inside the house with a handgun.
He later shot himself. WCSO said the he is still alive and receiving medical treatment at this time.
They said he may or may not need to be life-flighted to a hospital.
