WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - In Wakulla County, the commission has agreed to start construction of a new boat ramp for public use.
County offficials say it will be a full boat launch facility.
They say the decision to build the new ramp was decided on, after the current owner of the property where the old ramp was located, decided he did not want people trespassing.
The new ramp will be located on Lake Ellen Drive.
Officials say it will be built on the county right of way, which has been the property of Wakulla since 1963.
