VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - On Tuesday, October 14, 2014, the Center for International Programs is partnering with Honors College to host the 2014 Valdosta State University (VSU) Study Abroad Fair.
The fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Honors House, located at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Oak Street.
According to Irina McClellan, Study Abroad Program coordinator and assistant director of the Center for International Programs at VSU, more than 20 countries will be represented and participating students will have the chance to meet with previous VSU Study Abroad Program participants and faculty and try foods from around the world.
The Study Abroad Fair will feature information about summer, semester-long, and year-long exchange programs available to VSU students. McClellan says financial aid can be applied to approved programs and programs are available in almost every field of study, including business, history, political science, art, biology and more.
VSU recently introduced two new study abroad programs, one in Australia and New Zealand and another for early childhood education majors in Italy.
