VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Valdosta State University (VSU) has secured more than $46 million in gifts and pledges through its comprehensive capital campaign.
The campaign - "Invest, Ignite, Inspire" - kicked off in July of 2014.
University officials say more than 10,000 donors have made 17,000 gifts and pledges since the beginning of the campaign.
VSU's Advancement Team hopes to reach their $53,250,000 goal by summer of 2019.
Funds raised through the campaign will further develop scholarships, faculty, programs, athletics, and facility upgrades.
