VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department reports on a shooting happening on Shanna Circle in Valdosta on Saturday, July 15 at approximately 11:27 a.m.
When an uniformed patrol officer arrived on scene he found the victim in the 1700 block of E Moore Street. The victim sustained gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Paramedics transported the victim to the local hospital, but was later flown out by helicopter to a larger hospital for additional care.
Valdosta Police Person’s Crime Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians with the Valdosta Regional Crime Lab have been gathering evidence and witness accounts, but both the victim and most witnesses have not been cooperative with investigators.
The victim is in stable condition and the investigation is ongoing.
