VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - The Valdosta Police Department has launched a full investigation in reference to claims of aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy and kidnapping that was reported on Monday.
VPD said investigators are out searching for answers in an incident that took place around 1:30 a.m.
According to the police report, it happened in the 700 Block of Brookwood Place.
Lieutenant Adam Bembry said there are a lot of components to this investigation and for that reason, very little can be released at this time.
We do know that police don't currently have anyone in custody but are working to identify anyone connected with claims of aggravated molestation, aggravated sodomy, kidnapping a minor and robbery of an individual.
