VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department has identified the victim of a fatal crash as a 71-year-old Valdosta resident, Willie Lee McKeithen.
Lt. Adam Bembry says that officers were dispatched to the scene, in the 200 block of Smith Avenue, Monday morning.
He says McKeithen drove a Ford F-150 ran off the road, causing it to overturn.
He was found unresponsive at the scene.
VPD says first aid was performed on scene by the Valdosta Fire Department and the man was transported by paramedics to the South Georgia Medical Center.
He later died at the hospital.
Officials say that there was no evidence of alcohol involved in the incident.
