(WTXL) - Vice President Mike Pence is trying to rally support for a Republican gubernatorial candidate in Georgia.
Pence appeared at a rally in Macon this weekend to support Georgia's Secretary of State Brian Kemp.
Pence said Kemp is the only person who can keep the Governor's Mansion in rRepublican hands.
President Donald Trump also endorsed Kemp on Twitter.
Kemp is in a runoff with Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle that will be decided Tuesday.
The winner of Tuesday's Republican contest faces Democrat Stacey Abrams in the general election in November.
