TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Florida and Georgia voters are being reminded that they only have one week to register for the upcoming general election.
Residents must register by next Monday, Oct. 6, 2014 to vote in the November 4 election.
In both states, residents with a valid driver's license can register online. In Georgia there is also a 'Georgia Votes' mobile app.
Secretary of State Brian Kemp says the 'GA Votes' mobile application also allows Georgia residents to register, find polling locations, check voter registration status and track the status of an absentee ballot.
Kemp says the application is available in Apple and Google app stores.
