TALLAHASSEE, FLA. (WTXL) - A local restaurant is burglarized over the weekend, and workers say the money from their tip jar was stolen.
The popular local hot dog restaurant Voodoo dog posted about the break in on their Facebook page.
According to the restaurant, the tip jar was stolen sometime Friday night along with other items at their Gaines Street location. They say the burglars threw a brick through their window. Despite the burglary, the restaurant was able to recover thanks to customers coming in after seeing the post.
Part of the effort was a 3 dollar raffle where customers could "guess the weight" of the brick . They say the outpouring of support following the incident meant a lot to their business.
