TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Forget fast food on Thanksgiving! Several college students who didn't go home for the Thanksgiving holiday, sat down together for a homemade meal Thursday.
They were served up a hot meal at Suwannee Hall on Florida State University's campus.
The best part? It was free!
This annual event is to make sure no student goes hungry on the holiday.
The students said they not only appreciate the food, but the organizers and volunteers who helped put it together.
The volunteers said that they are more than happy to do it.
