JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A Sunday morning crash in Jackson County has killed three teenagers.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Tristan Gosnell, Joella Duncan and Wyatt Hatcher, both 18-years old, were in a 2007 Dodge Pickup when the crash happened.
They said they were traveling westbound on State Road 2 and missed the curve near Gordon Road at 7:50 a.m. The truck then rolled over the eastbound lanes and stopped after hitting several trees.
Two of the passengers were not wearing seatbelts and were thrown from the truck. Troopers said they are trying to figure out who was driving.
The crash is still under investigation.
A candle light vigil is being held tomorrow for the victims at the Malone High School softball field at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
