TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) -- Depending on who you asked about the result of the Rose Bowl game. Some people might be happy. Other responses? Not so much.
"We were really just hoping to see a really good game. So we're definitely disappointed that FSU didn't even show up in the second half", said Jonathan Tewson, who watched the game from a hotel in Tallahassee.
After half-time, happiness and confidence were quickly replaced by shock and the realization that Florida State would not come back and win like they have done so many times during this season.
"I turned the TV off in the 3rd quarter. It was literally heartbreak", said Taylor Thomas.
Pat Toone from Alabama understood the feelings in Tallahassee. "They probably feel pretty devastated because I'm from Alabama and I know that my school right now is pretty devastated", he said.
While many Seminoles fans are upset about the result of the game, there still is some room for positivity, as there was for viewer Gail Lemarche: "29 wins is a great streak and you know what? FSU still rocks. Gotta love the Noles and their effort."
