SARASOTA, FL (WWSB) - Police in Sarasota are sharing a frightening video of a alcohol-fueled crash as a reminder to everyone to not drink and drive.
The crash happened this past Saturday, Sept. 22nd, at the intersection of Fruitville and Tuttle. Police say the driver who crashed into multiple vehicles was under the influence and arrested for DUI, DUI with property damage and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Incredibly, all of the drivers involved only had minor injuries, but police wanted to share the video to remind everyone that if you get behind the wheel and you aren't sober, you could seriously injure or kill yourself or others.
Sarasota Police said, "Folks, don't drink and drive. Just don't do it."
