MADISON COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - The Florida Highway Patrol has identified the victim who was badly burned in a fatal Madison County crash.
Troopers say that Destiny Close, 22, was killed in a fiery crash while traveling eastbound on I-10 around 5:22 a.m. on Wednesday.
At some point while driving, her car left the road and traveled onto the south grass shoulder. The front of car then collided with a large tree, uprooting it.
FHP said that the car overturned onto its right side before coming to final rest facing west. The car then caught fire, causing total fire damage.
Troopers are still investigating the incident.
