TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) – With rain on the way many vendors at the Winter Festival seem concerned.

Timothy Hartsfield owner of Cassie's Concession has been attending the festival for more than 30 years.

He said  he hopes the rain will stay away because it's a great event for the community but he understands if things change due to the weather.

"We know that the weathers bad but its a great family event, but we all understand, you know the city they worked so hard too but we totally understand if the weather wouldn't be safe for the families to come out we totally understand. So hopefully the weather is good to have it but if not its ok as well," said Hartsfield.

The city has a hotline that you can call for updates on the Winter Festival. The number is 850-891-3800.
