VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--Shots are fired from one vehicle to another in Valdosta sending a woman to the hospital.
Police say they were called to South Georgia Medical Center Monday night around 7:40 where the victim, 20-year-old Tonisha Finch, was being treated after she was shot in the leg.
Police say earlier in the evening, there was argument between two people. They were driving on East Park Avenue in separate vehicles.
Police say the suspect vehicle fired several shots at a Nissan Altima. Finch was a passenger in that car and was hit by gunfire.
Police don't believe Finch was the intended target.
They say the driver of the suspect vehicle, 20-year-old Khadisha Williams, was arrested. Police are looking for the passenger who fired the shots.
Williams is charged with four counts of party to the crime of aggravated assault.
She was taken to the Lowndes County Jail.
