DAYTONA BEACH, FL - A Valdosta 18-year-old has been arrested in connection to a hit-and-run death in Daytona Beach.
According to the Daytona Beach Police Department, Christopher Moore was arrested on Thursday and charged with leaving the scene of a crash with a death. Moore will be 19 on Monday.
Moore's Facebook page lists him as a student at Lowndes High School from 2012 to 2016.
Police say after an altercation outside of a Daytona Beach cafe on April 3, Moore chased two motorcycles driven by Peter Blais and Roger Martin.
Witnesses inside the van Moore was driving told police that Moore said, "I'm about to go get them," before catching up to the motorcycles and ramming into Martin's bike.
Martin died from his injuries at the scene of the crash, according to police.
The department says they worked with the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office to locate the van and additional witnesses in the county.
Police say Moore is expected to be extradited to Volusia County and that additional charges are pending.
