VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Valdosta State University has announced that it is welcoming evacuees from areas affected by Hurricane Matthew with free admission to this weekend's games.

VSU's Athletic Department announced Friday morning that evacuees will be able to get free admission into the university's Friday and Saturday volleyball matches as well as free tickets to Saturday night's football games.

In order to claim their tickets, the department said that evacuees will need to present their driver's license at each event.

They said evacuees can pick up their free ticket at the main entrance of The Complex for Blazer volleyball matches, and pick up football game tickets at the red Will Call tent, located near the main ticket gate on Williams Street.

Volleyball gates open one hour prior to the match, and football gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
