VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)-- Valdosta State is kicking off its "No More" awareness campaign, which aims to prevent sexual assault at the University.

A Student Government Association Senator, Quineshia Claiborne, brought the national movement to VSU.

She says so far she has received a lot of support from the student body.

This morning the campus community gathered to support the movement in Palms Quad by leaving their hand imprint to show unity for the prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault.

The campaign will hold other events during the month as well, including a public forum on sexual assault next Thursday, October 31 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, also in Palms Quad.
