VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)--Valdosta police have now identified the woman killed in a Tuesday stabbing.
They say 50-year-old Cecilia Whiddon was found dead at the Big Seven Motel on West Hill Avenue at 2:40 a.m. Another woman was also stabbed. She was taken to the hospital, but police have not released her name.
In less than two hours, police arrested Robert Gamble. He's charged with felony murder, two counts of aggravated assault, home invasion in the first degree, and possession of a knife during the commission of a felony.
Police say the stabbing stemmed from some kind of dispute.
