VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Folks in Valdosta are gearing up for the big high school football game this Friday.
In fact, city schools will dismiss students early to drive up to the Georgia Dome in Atlanta.
The early dismissal will allow faculty, staff and students an opportunity to drive up for the Valdosta vs. Tucker state championship game.
The city has also arranged chartered fan buses to help fans get to the game. they will leave from the VHS Performing Arts Center on Friday at noon.
Seats can be purchased at the ticket office and are $40 each plus game tickets which are $18. if you purchase your game ticket at the dome it will be $20.
School dismissal times are:
Valdosta High School, the Early College Academy and the Horne Learning Center will all dismiss on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
Middle schools dismiss at noon and elementary schools release at 12:30 p.m.
