VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - School bus drivers in Valdosta met with the superintendent, discussing how to move forward after days of tense negotiations over work conditions and pay.
The meeting Monday was not open to the public, but Superintendent William Cason says the meeting went well.
Cason says he and the drivers discussed how they will deal with future personnel issues, agreeing to meet one-on-one instead of a group setting.
Cason says the drivers agreed to continue transporting students and added they have a plan in place if things take a turn for the worse.
The drivers declined to comment after the meeting.
