VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - A restaurant manager is in custody after thousands of dollars are reported stolen from the business.
The Lowndes county sheriff's office says Daniel MacDonald was arrested Friday at Marco's Pizza on Kingsway in Valdosta.
MacDonald being is charged with theft by taking.
An estimated nearly $7,000 was stolen.
Lowndes County Sheriff Ashley Paulk said the money was apparently taken from regular nightly deposits.
