VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Martin Luther King Jr. holiday has given thousands of employees and children the day off, but community members in Valdosta are remembering that it's a day dedicated to service.
Hundreds of people filled the seats of the Mathis Auditorium Monday to pay tribute to a man who believed in equality for all.
Dozens of speakers relayed his message through dance, song and words of encouragement.
