VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Valdosta police are searching for a man who pointed a gun at a resident of Carron Oak Apartments.
Police responded to the incident at about 7:30 p.m. on January 27. The victim told the responding officers an unknown man came to his apartment, pulled out a gun, and pointed it at him.
The victim said that one of his roommates grabbed a shotgun and fired it. As a result, the suspect ran and got into an SUV. The victim grabbed the shotgun and fired a parting shot at the SUV, but he told police he doesn't think he hit anything.
No one was hurt as a result of the incident.
Officers couldn't find the SUV or the suspect. The suspect was was described as an African-American male, approximately 6’3”, with a heavyset build. No further information is available at this time.
