VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department is reporting that the gas leak near North Valdosta Road has been shut down.
They said that a gas line was struck on Wednesday behind Music Funeral Home by construction crew near the 3800 block of North Valdosta Road, causing gas to leak out.
Valdosta Police Department, EMS, and the Valdosta Fire Department were all on scene.
North Valdosta Road was briefly shut down between Country Club and Val Del Road, but has since been reopened.
