VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Valdosta police are looking into an incident where a man says three people beat him with a baseball bat.
Police say the victim went to the Green Briar apartments on Marion Street, where he got into an argument with an unidentified man.
He told police they got into a fight, and the man stole 30 to 40 dollars from him.
The victim says he then left to get a baseball bat from his home and returned to the apartments, where he was attacked again by several men who took the bat from him and hit him with it.
His step-father came to the scene to help, and was also assaulted. The three men were not identified, but authorities are looking into the incident.
