VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - The Valdosta Police Department has a warrant out for a suspect accused of stabbing and cutting a woman on Thursday.
Police issued the warrant for the arrest of Destiny McDougal for aggravated assault after she was accused of stabbing a victim with a "knife like object."
The victim and a witness told police McDougal insulted her, resulting in a physical altercation between the two.
Police say that is when McDougal began stabbing and cutting the victim. The victim sustained several injuries including a large gash across her abdomen, a wound on her upper left arm and a gash under an eye.
The injuries to not appear to be life threatening, according to police. McDougal could not be located at the scene by officers.
