VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Valdosta Police are looking for clues in a weekend murder where a man was found shot to death in a car.

They say 44-year-old Terry Williams was found at the 600 block of Broad Street Saturday night.

They believe the crime is drug related but are still investigating.

Chief Bryan Childress says Williams had been shot in the head.

The autopsy is scheduled for later this week, but Childress cannot release anymore information until after he gets the results.

"We had crime scene techs out their too, so I'm sure they pulled a lot of. They did late printing examination. You know that care, from my understanding that is at the crime lab and so they'll go over that with a microscope and to see if we can find anything else to this,: said Childress. "So a lot of data crunching going on right now at the crime lab and you got detectives looking at the camera systems and they're still out working and talking to the people that knew this gentleman.

Officials have not named any suspects.

Childress says this is the first murder in Valdosta for the year.
