VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) - Valdosta police are looking for anyone in connection to a shooting that took place in the 2400 block of Knox drive Sunday night.
Police responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. and found bullet holes in a house and a car.
At this time, investigators do not believe it was a drive-by.
No one was injured during the shooting but Lieutenant Adam Bembry said if community members hear gunfire, they should stay away from windows, watch for stray bullets and call police immediately.
"They might fire a shot in the air, again that bullet has to come down and it will come down with the exact same velocity that it left the barrel and it can absolutely hurt, it can cause death, damage property, come through the roof and hit somebody," explained Bembry.
The Valdosta Police Department does believe this was an isolated incident.
If anyone has any information, they are urged to contact police.
