VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - A 4-year-old was awarded Thursday for saving her father's life after he passed out.
On the Valdosta Police Department's Facebook page, they said that Elaina received a life-saving award after she found her father unconscious in bed following his complaints about feeling under the weather.
Elaina managed to use her father's cellphone to call one of his friends for help. Police the friend then placed a 3-way phone call to 911 so that they operators could speak with the girl and send help.
Once Valdosta police arrived, Elaina let them into the house and led them to her father.
