Valdosta, GA (WTXL)-- The Valdosta-Lowndes Chamber's President's Partners, along with the Valdosta Board of REALTORS® and the Home Builders Association of South Georgia held a "Meet the Candidiates" event tonight at the Rainwater Conference Center from 5:30 to 7:30.
Expected at the event tonight are candidates for the US Representative District 1 Seat, Buddy Carter (R) and Brian Corwin Reese (D).
For the Senate District 8 Seat, Ellis Black (R) and Bikram Mohanti (D) attended the event.
The Lowndes County District 3 candidates, Mark Weisenbaker (R) and Tom Hochschile were also in attendance, along with State House Seat 174 candidates, John Corbitt (R) and Jesse Smith (D).
There was also a surrogate at the event speaking on behalf of incumbent Georgia Governor Nathan Deal.
