DUVAL COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) -- A Valdosta man was involved in a fatal accident over the weekend in Duval County.
Florida Highway Patrol says a car unexpectedly stopped on Interstate 295, blocking a southbound lane.
The car was rear-ended and pinned underneath another vehicle, driven by Lance Ownbey of Valdosta.
Greg Keith Strickland, 57, of Orange Park, Florida, was killed in the crash.
Ownbey, 48, was not injured.
According to the incident report, no alcohol was found in Ownbey's system. Results of Strickland's blood alcohol content is still pending.
