QUITMAN, Ga. (WTXL) -- A Valdosta man is accused of shooting and killing two prison guards.
Georgia Bureau of Investigation agents say 33-year-old Anthony Ceasar murdered Anisa Mobley and her brother Jamal Mobley. The siblings were leaving their home on Azalea Drive in Morven to head to work at Valdosta State Prison when they were gunned down.
It happened in the early morning hours of September 3.
Investigators say Ceasar was Anisa Mobley’s ex-boyfriend, but they are not commenting on a motive.
The GBI says that Ceasar has been charged with two counts of felony murder, two counts of malice murder and two counts of aggravated assault in the deaths of Anisa Mobley and Jamal Mobley.
Ceasar was arrested back in September for malice murder in the death of 39-year-old Kenneth Johnson in Valdosta. Police say it happened at the Applebee's on Inner Perimeter Road. Lashanda Williams was also shot.
Caeser is at an undisclosed correctional facility in Georgia. Investigators say he will be brought back to Brooks County in the next couple of days to for an arraignment.
