VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL)-- A Valdosta man is facing charges after a burglary at JK Foodmart on the 700 block of Old Statenville Road.
The shop's owner reported the crime early Sunday morning. He noticed a hole in the wall on the side of the building and several cartons of cigarettes missing. After reviewing surveillance video, the owner was able to positively ID Maxie Patterson. He was picked up at a home on Cummings Street. As Patterson was being transferred to the Lowndes County Jail, he damaged the window frame of the patrol car. He is also charged with interference with government property.
