VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - Valdosta firefighters are giving back to children in the area this holiday season by donating bicycles.
The Bicycle Program is a partnership between the Valdosta Fire Department and the Georgia Division of Families and Children services.
The bikes are donated to the fire department where they get any necessary parts to fix them up, then they can hand them out.
There were 24 bikes given out as part of the program and today they were delivered to the homes of the families.
