VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - It was back to business Wednesday for Valdosta City Schools.

Students walked the halls preparing for classes to begin for the 2018-2019 school year.

While its back to the status quo for many, some students returned to some big changes.

Elementary school students returned dressed to impress, with a new uniform policy.

5th-grader Travis Scott was optimistic about the uniforms.

"It's the uniforms that's exciting. I don't like them but it could have been worse," said Scott.

Just a few miles away, some students enrolled at Valdosta High School were a bit lost walking the halls.

This is the first year of a newly built, $85 million facility.

Lowdnes County Schools students went back to school Tuesday.
