VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Police say they arrested a man for stealing living room items including a television from a Valdosta home over the weekend.
The burglary happened in the 2500 block of Seymour Street on Saturday, officers say they were dispatched to the home around 11:00 p.m.
Maxwell Aho was seen by neighbors walking down the road carrying a TV on University Drive and Seymour Street, according to police.
Authorities say they spoke with other citizens who lead them to an address on Knox Drive. That is where they found Aho and the television which was positively identified by the victim.
In a press release, the department said, "We appreciate the citizens who came forward with the information they had concerning the incident as this information was very instrumental in helping officers solve this burglary."
