Valdosta Apartment Fire Displaces Three

VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Three Valdosta residents were forced out of their apartment after a fire broke out early Thursday morning.

According to Valdosta Fire Chief Freddie Broom, the fire happened at an apartment complex on East Park Avenue just after 5:30am. Broom says that firefighters were able to get the fire under control before 6am.

The fire department says that the fire caused $15,000 of damage, and there were no injuries. They believe the fire was caused from an electrical issue.
