TAMPA, FL (WTXL) - The Tampa community gathered Monday night, for a vigil for 18 year old Jacqueline Faircloth, who was critically injured during a hit and run accident over the weekend in Tallahassee.
Jackie, a high school student, is from Tampa. She was visiting Tallahassee.
Monday night, friends and family held a vigil in her name, where they prayed and sat in silence.

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - One person is in the hospital after being hit by a car Saturday. Tallahassee Police Department responded to the 600 block of West Pensacola Street in reference to a hit and run accident.
According to witnesses, 18-year-old Jacqueline Faircloth was on the south side of Pensacola street, just east of Gray Street. Witnesses say she stepped off the curb to cross Pensacola street, when she was hit.
Faircloth was taken to the hospital, and Tallahassee Memorial Hospital says she is in the intensive care unit as of Monday.
According to the Facebook page that her family has set up, Faircloth, who is from Tampa, is in an induced coma.
The vehicle left the scene, heading west on Pensacola Street.
Tallahassee Police says the car may have been a red or silver SUV with front end damage.
