UPDATE, 5/8/14, 10:03 p.m. (WTXL) - At approximately 3:20 a.m. today, the Valdosta Police Department pulled over a vehicle for a routine traffic stop in the 900 block of Northside Drive.
Police say Demarquez Bartee and Jacquez Gilbert, who were passengers in the vehicle, were identified and arrested for the May 2, 2014 shooting at 2533 Forrestwood Drive. Both Bartee and Gilbert were transported to the Lowndes County Jail.

VALDOSTA, GA, 05/05/14 (WTXL) -- Police have identified two of the people they believed were involved in a shooting on the 2000 block of Forrestwood Drive Friday.
Demarquez Bartee and Jacquez Gilbert, both 18-years-old, have been listed as suspects in the shooting. Detectives said there may be another person involved.
Officers said that they arrested Charles Little, Justin Foster, and a 16-year-old for obstruction. Officers on scene said the trio lied to them about what happened and tried to persuade witnesses not to talk to detectives and officers who were on scene.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of Demarquez Bartee or Jacquez Gilbert, they are asked to call 911.
