VALDOSTA, GA (WTXL) - Valdosta Police have confirmed the man injured in Tuesday morning's shooting on East Jane Street has died.
Police are not yet releasing his identity. It is now a homicide investigation.
The Valdosta Police Department says it happened just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday morning in the 700 block of East Jane Street.
A male victim was shot multiple times.
"We believe this house was targeted. In fact, I know that. I'm willing to say that this was a drug-related incident, based on what we've seen thus far during the investigation," said Chief Brian Childress.
