TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- Though many Seminoles fans traveled to Pasadena for the BCS Championship game, thousands of students who stayed in Tallahassee packed the Civic Center for the official BCS Watch Party.
Students lined up hours before the doors opened at 7:00 p.m. to get the best seat in the house.
"I am excited to see my team go out there and just continue what they've been doing all season," said FSU student Shelby Martin.
Florida State University's Oglesby Union planned the event with a free t-shirt for the first five hundred in the door. Students say the excitement was almost unbearable.
The first field goal we had fireworks and streamers everywhere," said FSU student Nikki Perrini, "so it's definitely a great atmosphere this year."
"Any little play that happens in favor of FSU and the crowd just goes crazy," said FSU student Matthew Hathaway. "It's just awesome and makes the game watching experience so much better."

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.-- Florida State University will host an official BCS Watch Party at the Tallahassee-Leon Civic Center.
The event will include games and entertainment. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the game will be shown at 8:00 p.m. It's free for students, and the first 500 in the door will get a free t-shirt.
The BCS Express will run two buses on the campus loop to the Civic Center starting at 7:00 p.m. and will run post game from the Civic Center until 2:30 am.
