TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- A restaurant in Tallahassee's Midtown neighborhood has opened its doors after months of preparation and relocation.
We told you about Riccardo's Restaurant moving from Capital Circle to Betton Place on Thomasville Road.
The family-style Italian restaurant officially re-opened Tuesday as planned.
Owner John Acevedo says the response from the community was tremendous.
"The thought that we're finally here after all the hard work and aggravation and headaches and no sleep are coming through. Last night was a perfect example of that. Tallahassee came out and was incredibly generous to us," said Acevedo. "We had a 45-minute wait last night on a Tuesday night alone. That tells me a lot about the people in town."
